The next independent film California Skate, which takes place on a roller rink from the 1970s, will include Bridget, 53. Brooke Shields, Henry Winkler, Jay Mohr, Monique Coleman, Jahi Di’Allo Winston, Caleb Baumann, Kayli Tran, Hayden Carson Begley, and Elliot Gilbert Adler are among the cast members. The filming has already finished.
The film centres on a group of teenagers going through their first love, making new friends, and having a pivotal night of maturing, according to IMDb. The first images from the movie were recently released by Deadline. Bridget is listed as a producer on the David Kukoff-directed project.
Bridget is also getting ready for the Blue Bloods series finale, which will air at 10 p.m. ET on Friday, December 13. She has been sharing behind-the-scenes pictures, such as pictures from the celebration of the 150th episode and adorable moments with her long-time co-star Donnie Wahlberg.
In September, Bridget told People, “We’ve had such a good time,” expressing her and the cast’s frank disappointment at the show’s cancellation. Everyone wants to be present. It’s a true loss.
She remembered seeing Tom Selleck arrive on set despite having already wrapped for Donnie’s last scene. For the actors and crew, it was an intensely emotional occasion.
“We were just so thankful,” Bridget said, describing how it felt like family to be standing next to Tom during that last scene. “Nice to meet you” was the first thing that was said. We are kin.
What she will treasure most from her years on the program, she noted, is the love, respect, and strong relationship among the actors.
