Lauren Boebert stopped to talk to TMZ on the Capitol steps Wednesday and said something about fellow Republican Tom Kean Jr. that nobody expected — demanding to know where he is, calling his two month unexplained absence embarrassing and saying the Republican Party cannot campaign against working from the basement while one of their own members has not been seen or heard from since March.
She then said the one thing that stopped everyone cold — “I’m not saying he’s dead, but come on — where is the representation? That is taxation without representation, is it not?” Tom Kean Jr. has been absent from Congress for over two months with no explanation, no timeline for return and no communication to his own party leadership. Lauren Boebert just made sure the whole country knows about it — and now nobody can pretend they did not hear her.
