CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota recently revealed the heartbreaking news that her husband of nearly 23 years, Tim Lewis, passed away in July 2024. Lewis, 58, had been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer for two years before his death. The couple, who were married in 2001, have three children together: twin daughters, Ale and Cessa, and a son, Nate.

In an emotional post, Camerota shared her admiration for her husband’s courage and resilience throughout his illness, describing him as an extraordinary father, husband, and friend. She reflected on how he faced his diagnosis with humor, humility, and bravery, leaving a lasting impact on their family.

In honor of his memory, Camerota and her family established a fund to support other families dealing with pancreatic cancer, helping to provide financial aid for research and clinical trials. The fund is a tribute to Lewis’s commitment to giving back to his community.

Camerota expressed that she and her children are still adjusting to their loss, but they are trying to emulate the strength and stability that Lewis brought into their lives. She also expressed gratitude for the support and kindness they have received from friends, colleagues, and the public.

Although deeply grieving, Camerota plans to return to work in the coming weeks and continue writing about her journey. She concluded by saying she feels incredibly lucky to have shared such a deep, loving partnership with Lewis for the time they had together.
