Tony DiNozzo is officially heading back to NCIS. Michael Weatherly will reprise the fan-favorite role in Season 24 for a season-long arc, bringing Tony back to the series where his story began more than two decades ago.
But longtime fans immediately had one question: Where is Ziva?
So far, Cote de Pablo has not been announced as returning alongside Weatherly. That stands out because Tony and Ziva were recently reunited in NCIS: Tony & Ziva, the Paramount+ spinoff that was canceled after one season. The series ended with Tony and Ziva moving their relationship forward again alongside their daughter, Tali.
CBS has kept the story behind Tony’s return under wraps, meaning Ziva could still factor into his storyline. But right now, Weatherly is the confirmed return — de Pablo isn’t.
