Rep. Anna Paulina Luna had just finished questioning Secretary of State Marco Rubio about Code Pink’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party — asking about the $1.3 million they received from an American millionaire living in China — when she walked out of that hearing room and something happened in the hallway that she is now taking to the courts.

The head organizer of Code Pink followed her out of the building, berated her and then physically made contact with her arm — and Luna immediately called Capitol Police, filed a report and demanded Speaker Mike Johnson ban Code Pink from Capitol Hill entirely. Code Pink released their own video of the incident claiming their founder simply tapped Luna’s arm — but Luna told TMZ she was walking away trying to leave when it happened and that the moment anyone touches you they have crossed a line that cannot be uncrossed. She asked the hard questions about China. They followed her into the hallway. And Anna Paulina Luna made very clear that she is not the kind of woman who lets that go quietly.
