ICE law enforcement officers were assaulted outside the Delaney Hall detention facility in Newark New Jersey when anti-ICE rioters sprayed agents with an unknown chemical substance — and the federal response was immediate, with agents physically pushing back agitators who were blocking vehicles from leaving the facility.
Eight protesters have now been arrested — two for spraying officers with chemicals and six more after they threw objects at law enforcement while local police stood back and refused to help federal agents. DHS Secretary Mullin made the government’s position crystal clear in one sentence — “We will NOT let rioters stop or slow ICE down” — and every piece of video coming out of Newark right now shows he meant every single word.
