The entertainment world is heartbroken following the sudden passing of beloved actor Patrick Muldoon, who died on April 19 after a sudden heart attack at just 57 years old.  Best known for his roles on Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers, Muldoon was a true icon of 1990s television. Those close to him described him as “endlessly generous — with his poetry, his humor, and his unmistakable presence,” adding that he loved animals and people alike and had a rare gift for making others feel safe and seen.

He is survived by his partner Miriam Rothbart, his parents, and his sister Shana Zappa. Fran Drescher, a fellow icon of that golden era of television, has long championed her fellow actors, and fans everywhere are joining Hollywood in sending love and condolences to Patrick’s family during this incredibly difficult time. He will never be forgotten.
