More than 45 years ago, millions of Americans watched Blair, Jo, Tootie and Natalie grow up together on The Facts of Life.
Lisa Whelchel, who played Blair, largely stepped away from acting after the series but became an author, competed on Survivor and now hosts Collector’s Call. Kim Fields, beloved as Tootie, remained busy in television, later starring in Living Single and Netflix’s The Upshaws.
Nancy McKeon, who played tough-talking Jo, continued acting in shows including The Division and later Panic, while also raising a family away from much of the Hollywood spotlight.
And Mindy Cohn, unforgettable as Natalie, built a successful career that included years as the voice of Velma in Scooby-Doo. She has continued acting, including recent Hallmark projects.
The girls who once filled the halls of Eastland Academy are now decades removed from the roles that made them famous — but for fans who grew up watching them, seeing them today brings back a lot of memories.
