Sarah Palin recently told Al Arabiya News she still hopes President Trump will appoint her to a position in his administration — preferably related to energy — saying energy independence has always been her passion and the key to America’s security and sovereignty.

Lost elections. A nine year lawsuit against the New York Times that drained everything she had. A movement she helped build that keeps moving without her. And through all of it not one moment of public self pity — not one bitter post, not one angry statement, not one word asking anyone for sympathy. At 61 Sarah Palin is still showing up, still speaking her mind and still refusing to let the people who wrote her off have the last word. Some people need the world’s approval to keep going. She has never once asked for it.
