Los Angeles residents are voting today in one of the most watched mayoral races in the country — with incumbent Mayor Karen Bass clinging to a razor thin lead at 26 percent over progressive challenger Nithya Raman at 25 percent and reality TV star Spencer Pratt trailing at 22 percent — all within the margin of error.

Pratt has received backing from Paris Hilton, Joe Rogan, Google co-founder Sergey Brin and the Lakers’ Jeanie Buss — and spent the final days of the campaign posting a devastating video of a drug addict dying on a city livestream of Skid Row saying he no longer needed to make campaign ads because Karen Bass kept making them for him. Pratt lost his Pacific Palisades home in the January 2025 fire and turned his grief into a political mission — saying if he doesn’t win and LA gets four more years of the same direction everyone is in big trouble.
