Ryan Fournier — co-founder and chairman of Students for Trump and a recently appointed Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the Department of Justice — was arrested in Washington D.C. on domestic violence charges after allegedly striking a woman he had been dating multiple times in the face with a closed fist.
A witness heard Fournier threaten the woman with a lamp and ask her “Do you want to die today?” as she fled to the bathroom. It is the second time in less than two years Fournier has faced accusations of assaulting a woman — the first incident involved striking a girlfriend with a firearm, charges that were later dropped. The day after his arrest he was back on social media posting about immigration enforcement as if nothing had happened.
