It has been more than half a century since six television kids walked into that unforgettable house and became one of America’s most recognizable TV families.

The Brady Bunch premiered in September 1969 and ran for five seasons. Barry Williams, Maureen McCormick, Christopher Knight, Eve Plumb, Mike Lookinland and Susan Olsen became Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, Bobby and Cindy Brady — characters generations would continue discovering through reruns.

And here’s something that may surprise longtime fans: all six actors who played the Brady children are still with us in 2026. Their lives, however, went in remarkably different directions.

Barry Williams — Greg Brady

Barry Williams never completely left entertainment behind. After playing eldest brother Greg, he worked extensively in musical theater, television and live performances. He later wrote Growing Up Brady and has continued celebrating the series with fans. Today, Williams also co-hosts The Real Brady Bros podcast with Christopher Knight.

Maureen McCormick — Marcia Brady

For millions of viewers, she’ll always be Marcia.

McCormick continued acting after The Brady Bunch, appeared on reality television and eventually wrote openly about the difficult years she experienced after becoming famous so young. More recently, she has continued performing, including stage work.

Christopher Knight — Peter Brady

Knight took perhaps one of the most unexpected paths.

Although he continued making television appearances, he also moved into the technology business and became an entrepreneur. He later created the Christopher Knight Home furniture brand and continues revisiting his Brady years alongside Williams.

Eve Plumb — Jan Brady

Plumb proved there was much more to her than “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia.”

She continued acting but also developed another serious passion: painting. Her artwork has become an important part of her life, alongside occasional acting and theater work.

Mike Lookinland — Bobby Brady

Lookinland largely chose life away from celebrity.

After playing youngest son Bobby, he eventually worked behind the camera as a camera and electrical technician. He later moved into an entirely different field, running a decorative concrete business in Utah.

Susan Olsen — Cindy Brady

The little girl remembered for Cindy’s blonde curls also moved beyond conventional Hollywood acting.

Olsen pursued creative work including art and radio and has participated in various Brady-related projects and reunions over the years.

More Than 55 Years Later…

Robert Reed, Florence Henderson and Ann B. Davis — remembered as Mike, Carol and Alice — are no longer with us. But the six actors who played the Brady children remain a living connection to one of television’s most nostalgic eras.

Perhaps that’s why seeing them together today feels so unusual.

They aren’t the kids running up and down that famous staircase anymore. They’re now in their 60s and 70s, with careers, families and lives that took them far beyond the Brady house.

But for anyone who grew up watching those reruns after school, one look at those six faces can bring back an entire era.
